Marie-Noëlle in the snow.

The  "little" Marie-Noëlle is excatly like the real one : Nothing can stop her. The snow this morning didn't gave any problem for the deliveries, even if the road in the village were closed.

Snow monday the 15th of January

What a surprise to wake up this morning with 10 cm of snow surrounding the house and covering the landscape and the vines of Champagne.

The clouds moved away at 10h and left a nice light, but also a nice sun, making the temperatures raising and the snow melting.

Happy New Year with Playmobil.

1 year. It's been 1 year to the day that the Blog of Champagne Henriet Bazin has been created. Our objective was to share our daily life as champagne grower and producer with pictures, info...
The authenticity of our "savoir-faire"  and our traditional methods do not offer  some "new images" every year. Pruning is pruning and the methods are the same since générations, like "palissage" or "liage"... Then, to continue to entertain and informing you without tiring you, a part of the communication of 2013 will be done with new actors : Playmobil.

I introduce you the "playmobil" Marie-Noëlle. She wish you the best for 2013.

Frost.

-5 to -6°C, this is the temperature of these recent mornings. To avaoid damaging the branchs and wood made fragile by rthe cold, we stoped pruning and can devote us to end-of-year shippment.

"Le Point" Magazine

Still a very good review and excellent feedback fo our vintage Carte Or 2006 and the Blanc de Noirs Extra Brut 2008 in the folder "Special Champagne" of the French national magazine "Le Point"

Deer in the snow.

The snow felt in large flakes when we had to go to validate the printing of our new labels for the "Selection of Plots" cuvée (a real scoop which we'll tell you more soon). On the way back, Marie-Noëlle was attracted by a brown shape in the middle of the vineyards. It was a deer that was also enjoying the beauty of the lanscapes.
